Add equipment
The inspection asset register. Equipment is decommissioned, never deleted, so calibration history survives.
The due date fills in from the last calibration plus the interval, and clamps to month end.
Choose \u201cset due date directly\u201d to type it instead. Items due within 30 days, and anything overdue, appear on the Quality overview.
Add procedure
The controlled document register. A revision supersedes its predecessor rather than replacing it, so the superseded text stays readable.
The review-by date is computed from the approval date and interval when you save, and clamps to the end of the month: 31 August plus six months is 28 February, not 3 March.
Off by default. An unpublished procedure is visible to Quality only. Publishing puts it on the technician portal and asks everyone holding a live certification in its method to acknowledge it.
Attached on save. A procedure with no document shows on the technician portal with nothing to open.
Acknowledgements
Everyone holding a live certification in this procedure's method is asked. Acknowledgement is recorded against the revision, so a new revision starts over.

The controlled copy. Technicians see these only while the revision is active and published to them.

Record a certificate against any technician. Certificates are signed on paper; this is the register.
Examination — optional
Leave blank if there is no exam to record. Only passing exams are kept: the composite is computed from the parts supplied and a failing score is refused.
Certificate scan — optional
Controlled document. Visible to Quality only — technicians have no path to it.
Saving opens that technician's file so the entry can be checked.
Certification number
Four digits, assigned by CTS. One number per technician, unique across the company.
Leave blank to clear. Leading zeros are kept. This number prints on inspection reports.
Edit certification
Correcting a record edits it in place, leaving no voided row behind.
An explicit expiry date wins over the interval.

Composite is recomputed from the parts.

1Sales creates a quote — customer info, scope, line items, rate structure. Submitted for approval.

3Quote converts to job ticket — assigned to technician(s). Job number auto-generated (e.g. 2610-0042).
4Technician executes the job — logs time, quantities, generates inspection report. Submits for review.
5Admin/manager reviews — verifies quantities, checks for overruns, applies pricing, finalizes invoice.
6Invoice sent to customer — with attached inspection reports. Customer pays. Job marked Paid/Closed.
